My daughter, Kamila, was always the wisest girl in class. She have no problem to graduated to university, and after two semesters, she took part in exchange academic program in Italy. She went to Milan, initially for one year, but she met a man there, so she stayed and finish her study there. Last year, I went to spend vacations in Kamila’s home, and I was going to meet her boyfriend and his family. I was fascinated by this city. After nerves wracking flight (first in my live), my daughter took my for the tour around old town. It was very fascinating time, I felt like I am suddenly became part of European Union, not just some random woman from Rzeszow.
I was living there for one month, Kamila was working in big company, but she took 2 weeks of, and took me to the trip along seaside. It was fascinating. We were driving her vehicle trough big route, situated at the hill, with lovely view over the sea (click there). We stayed one day in Rome, another one in Florence, few on Sicily and Naples. I was seeing art galleries and museums, eating delicious pastas and pizzas, walking down the old parts of those ancient towns, it was very great experience. Also, I very loved boat trip to Sicily Island, it was very charming. Last week of my holiday I stayed in Milan, bonding with my daughter and her future husband.
This summer, my (prospective) son in law , visited me in Rzeszow. He was really excited to see my country, because he never been here earlier. Giuseppe, cause that is his name and Kamila were staying here for 2,5 weeks. First couple of days was for adaptation, my daughter introduced her fiancé to her friends, they have been at coupe parties. Also, we showed him old district of Rzeszow, and all of it heritages. He also said, that my home town is prettier then Milan (see more). Then we stayed for one week in Bieszczady, my beloved spot in the Earth. Undeterred of my age, I am very active person, every summer
I spend whole week with my backpack and tent, connect with nature. This time was similar, my guest proved to be true nature lover, and it was not a problem for him to sleep in a hogan, as i was afraid of at the beginning. We were growing along the hills, swimming in the lake, and had a picnic in the woods. After we return to Rzeszow, next day Giuseppe flew back to Milan, and my daughter stayed at home for another week.
World are getting smaller, journey, that earlier took couple days, now is done after two hours. If there was no small airline firms, Mrs Grazyna wouldn’t be able to visit her daughter much often. But now,in present, she just have to book ticket, arrive on time at airport in Rzeszow, and after couple hours, she is in Milan talking to her daughter. It is really bright side of airline connections.
